Bunker Hills Ski Trail
The Anoka County Parks and Recreation Department offers cross-country skiing at four different park locations for you to enjoy. Rental equipment for cross county skiing is available at Chomonix Golf Course, Bunker Hills Campground Visitor Center and at the Coon Rapids Dam Visitor Center.
Grand Rounds Scenic Byway
Taking a roughly circular path through the city of Minneapolis, the Grand Rounds is a linked series of park areas and shoreline pathways including separate paths for automobiles, bicycles, and pedestrians. Extending about 50 miles, much of the byway was built in the 1930s as part of the Civilian Conservation Corps projects.

Hyland Hills Ski Area
Located just south of Minneapolis in Bloomington, the Hyland Hills Ski Area hosts cross-country and downhill skiing. The 36,000-square-foot chalet includes a gear shop, rentals, and a restaurant, and runs all season thanks to its robust artificial snow production.
