DO YOU PROVIDE PARKING?

Yes! We provide one parking spot per rental at a number of our rental properties. However, not all of our properties have parking. Each property has a different parking situation and our easy to use instructions will guide you through the process. If a property does not have parking, we will happily share with you any nearby parking options.

DOES THE PROPERTY COME WITH TOWELS, LINENS, AND EXTRA BEDDING? SHOULD I BRING EXTRA WITH ME?

Yes! We provide each property with enough towels, linens, and extra bedding for the maximum room occupancy. If you and your guests run out of towels, there is a washer and dryer and small amount of detergent in the unit or in the building to wash used towels, as Minnestay does not provide extras. If the property has a pool or a spa, we suggest you bring extra beach towels with you.

IS THERE AIR CONDITIONING IN ALL OF YOUR PROPERTIES?

Most of our properties, have air conditioning. You can check on our website or speak with our reservation staff for more details. If you do not see air conditioning advertised, it is likely not provided.

IS THERE DAILY HOUSEKEEPING?

Daily Housekeeping can be arranged for a fee. Please inquire with our reservation staff for pricing and availability. For normal reservations, our professional cleaning staff will prepare the rental from top to bottom before your arrival and after you leave for the next guest.

IS THERE INTERNET IN YOUR PROPERTIES?

Yes! All our properties are equipped with WIFI internet. However, internet service can potentially be interrupted due to weather, maintenance, outages by the internet provider, electrical issues, etc. and because of this no refunds will be given due to internet inaccessibility.

IS THERE TV/CABLE?

Yes! All our rentals are equipped with TVs and a basic cable package.

IS THIS STYLE OF ACCOMMODATION FOR EVERYONE?

Unfortunately, not. Our operations differ greatly from a hotel. Our properties are much bigger than hotel rooms, usually 3-4 times the size, with more appliances, furniture, moving parts and pieces that can go wrong and sometimes will go wrong. Our staff will fix items as quickly and appropriately as possible, but we do not always have the ability to switch rooms like a hotel can.

WHAT ITEMS ARE PROVIDED IN THE HOUSE?

Each bed will be made with fresh linens prior to your arrival. Bath towels will be provided based on the maximum occupancy of the property and the bathrooms will have a limited supply of hand soap, shampoo/conditioner, and a hair dryer. The kitchen will be stocked with a basic dishware set, coffee maker, pots and pans, wine glasses, coffee cups, bottle/can-opener, cork screw, microwave, and a toaster. If you would like to cook something that requires a specific pan or utensil, I would recommend bringing those items along with you. Spices are not provided, and we would recommend bringing them if you have a special meal dependent on them.

Yes, you can!

DO YOU HAVE ANY DISCOUNTS AVAILABLE?

Currently we offer: 10% off for any return Minnestay guest.

DO YOU TAKE AMERICAN EXPRESS?

Yes, we do! However, we do charge a 1% fee on all American Express transactions.

IS THE CLEANING FEE OPTIONAL?

MNo, sorry. We pride ourselves on the consistency of professionally cleaned properties upon your arrival. We have no way to ensure a unit is to our standards if the previous guest cleans the unit. Our cleaning staff is required to meet very strict standards for each and every checkout. This is for the benefit of all of our guests and staff.

WHEN DO I NEED TO PAY FOR MY RESERVATION?

We require that the full amount will be required at time of booking.

Questions About Your Reservation

CAN I REQUEST A CERTAIN UNIT OR FLOOR?

You can submit a request for a certain unit or floor, but unfortunately, we are not able to guarantee you a specific unit until one week before your arrival.

DO YOU ALLOW BACHELOR/BACHELORETTE PARTIES?

Unfortunately, since our rentals are located in residential communities, we do not allow bachelor/bachelorette parties or parties of any kind in our rentals.

WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?

At the time of booking, 100% of total rental charges are made. The Guest has 24 hours from making the reservation to cancel the booking for a full refund. After 24 hours, and at least 30 days before the start of the stay 50% becomes non-refundable. Within 30 days of check in all guest payments are non-refundable. If we are able to re-rent the property, we will reimburse the Guest for what we were able to re-book the unit for -15% for administrative fees. Minnestay highly recommends purchasing Travel Insurance through us at the time of booking to avoid potential travel complications.

Check-In Questions

DO YOU ALLOW EARLY CHECK-INS?

An early check-in can only be approved within 24 hours prior to arrival. This is dependent on whether or not the cleaning staff has time to fully clean the home before your arrival. If guests are checking out the same day that your reservation begins, an early check-in is not allowed as it will not allow the housekeeper enough time to fully prepare the home for you. Call or email us 24 hours prior to arrival to see if early check-in is available.

DO YOU ALLOW LATE CHECK-OUTS?

A late check-out can only be approved on the day of departure. They are dependent on whether or not the cleaning staff has time to fully clean the home before the next guest’s arrival. If guests are checking in on the same day that your reservation ends, a late check-out is not allowed as it will not allow the housekeeper enough time to fully prepare the property for the next guest. Call or email us 24 hours prior to departure day to see if a late check-out is available.

HOW DO I OBTAIN THE KEYS?

3 days prior to arrival, we will email you your Arrival and Departure Instructions. We recommend that you use “GuestPass”. The information will be entered into “GuestPass” for you to see. It has all the check-in information, codes, passwords, etc you will need to get into the building and your rental. You can also easily share it with all of your guests!

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO BEFORE CHECK-OUT?

Check-out is at 11am local time. All we ask is that you start a load of dishes in the dishwasher prior to departure. Be sure to follow the check-out instructions and what to do with keys and parking passes. A $125 per hour fee will be assessed for failing to vacate the unit by the agreed upon check-out time.

WHAT IF I’M NOT ARRIVING UNTIL AFTER 3PM?

That’s perfectly fine! Your unit will not be ready until 3pm but since we have a self-catered check-in system, you can easily check in at any time that works for you after 3pm.

WHAT IF THE PROPERTY IS LOCKED UPON OUR ARRIVAL?

Please call us immediately (612-314-8855) and follow the prompts. We have managers and maintenance staff on call 24/7 to resolve these matters as quickly as possible.

WHAT TIME IS CHECK-IN?

Our normal check in time is 3pm

DO YOU PROVIDE PACK-N-PLAY CRIBS?

Yes! We do have a baby package for rent. Please ask reservation staff or add them to your cart during your booking process.

WHAT IF WE HAVE A MAINTENANCE EMERGENCY DURING OUR STAY?

Please call us immediately (612-314-8855) and follow the prompts. We have managers and maintenance staff on call 24/7 to resolve these matters as quickly as possible.

CAN I BRING MY PET?

We love animals, but some of our properties do not allow pets of any kind. Please check with Minnestay before bringing your pet as there are size and breed restrictions. There is also a pet fee that is required if bringing your pet.

CAN I RENT THIS FOR MY CHILDREN AND THEIR FRIENDS?

One of the occupants staying in the apartment must be over the age of 25. If no one is staying in the apartment over age 25, the party may be removed without a refund offered. The reservation name and contact must be of the person who is 25+ so they can be contacted and return to the apartment if required.

HOW OLD DO I NEED TO BE TO RESERVE A HOME?

Our guests must be 25 years or older to reserve a property, or accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times, this is a rule that cannot be changed.

IS SMOKING AND/OR VAPING ALLOWED IN OR AROUND YOUR PROPERTIES?

Absolutely not. Smoking and vaping of any kind is prohibited on the rented premises, including roofs & outdoor common areas, and heavy fines will apply according to the rental contract.

WHY DO I NEED TO PROVIDE YOU WITH MY ID?

For security purposes and in order to prevent credit card fraud.
